**Despatch Supervisor (Afters) - Job Description**

Flavours Foods is a food manufacturing business providing the food to go, wholesale and catering markets with high quality chilled products such as sandwich fillers, salads, marinated meats & hummus.

The business continues to grow therefore the company is looking to hire a Supervisor who would join our strong and capable team working within the high care manufacturing departments.

As the Despatch Supervisor, it would be your job to look after all parts of the chilled order picking, temperature controlled storage rooms and warehouse locations.

Role will include looking after the team to ensure they are effectively working and completing roles efficiently. Supervising loading of vehicles, organising the hygiene and tidyness of all areas, ensuring paperwork is completed where applicable and identifying and providing solutions to potential issues.

**Day to day duties**:

- Plan & coordinate processes
- Supervise, train and lead the team
- Ensure that our processes run reliably and efficiently & are constantly improved where required
- Making sure Food Safety and product Quality is not compromised
- Be hands-on if needed
- Ensuring all paperwork and documentation is completed correctly and on time

**Skills & Experience required**:

- Previous experience in food manufacturing / food service business as a Supervisor / Manager
- An excellent understanding of Food Safety, Security & Compliance
- To be a strong, confident & kind person to ensure the best outcomes are achieved
- Good communication skills, good attitude
- Organisation and planning skills

**Job Type**: Full Time, Permanent

**Shift**:Afters (12:00-21:00), Monday - Friday (some flexibility is required)

**Salary**: 32,500
