We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees. This is a crucial role in our organisation, as you will play a key part in maintaining employee satisfaction by ensuring accurate and timely payment of wages. If you have a strong payroll background and available to commit to a temporary assignment, we would love to hear from you.

**Duties**:

- Process weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures
- Maintain employee records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status
- Calculate and process wages, deductions, and adjustments
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Generate payroll reports for management review
- Stay up-to-date with relevant HMRC requirements
- Collaborate with HR department to ensure accurate employee data and resolve any discrepancies

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, laws, regulations, and best practices
- Proficient in using SAGE and Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyse data accurately
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
- Solid understanding of accounting principles related to payroll processing
