- Are you relaxed, calm and patient?- Would you like to make a difference to someone with learning disabilities?- Could you be a befriending visitor?- Are you a kind and patient person who enjoys getting outdoors and would help others to do the same? Could you spare some time 6 times a year for a fun visit with a person with learning disabilities?- We support a very friendly and welcoming lady in her late 50's who is looking for some support and a friend to chat with- Our volunteers are kind and passionate people. They are keen to challenge themselves and others for the best possible outcomes, and they are inclusive of everyone, regardless of disability. Does this describe you? If so, please get in touch.- When & where do I need to be available?- Visits will be every 2 months and can be during the week or weekends. Visits will last around 1 - 2 hours or longer depending on what you plan to do. Visits will take place at his home initially. Once you get to know each other you may decide to go out and about too.-
