We are looking for talented Ecologists to undertake field work across in the Thames Valley area.
- Working with the Environmental Coordinator, Site Manager and Design Lead, and for identifying and managing the ecological risks through the project lifecycle
- Develop your ecological technical and management skills within a fully integrated design & build company
- Excellent experience for those seeking to obtain professional qualifications (e.g. CIEEM), which we will support, via our development and training programmes

The programme will improve clean and wastewater services to 15 million customers, as well as improving the environment.

- Member of Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management, or equivalent, or working towards a professional qualification.
- Personal conservation licence for, or working towards, at least one protected species and experience of obtaining or working under a variety of protected species licences, as well as liaising with regulatory bodies to negotiate and obtain consents.
- Strong knowledge of wildlife legislation including planning processes and HRA assessments.
- Proficiency in report writing skills, displaying high standards with attention to detail and ability to write accurate and concise reports, such as ecological appraisals, survey reports, method statement.

Mott MacDonald Bentley offers fully integrated design and build services to its clients, combining the contracting expertise of JN Bentley and the design specialisms of Mott MacDonald.
This role is employed by Mott MacDonald but will involve working across the joint venture business, both with Mott MacDonald and JN Bentley colleagues.
