We have a great opportunity based at our Bedford campus for a Library & Learning Resources Assistant to become a key member of our Student Services department.

As a Library & Learning Resources Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:

- Confidently presenting library inductions, and study skills sessions such as referencing and plagiarism, time management, etc in 1-1 and group sessions (mentoring, training, and development provided).
- Actively contributing to effective and efficient campus Libraries, maintaining a welcoming and orderly learning environment with high standards of customer care and close links with curriculum and other staff.
- Proactively supporting a diverse range of learners in overcoming barriers to the successful completion of research and other learning task, and promoting and facilitating use of the full range of learning resources.
- Supporting other college activities such as exams and open days, as needed.
- Good all-round level of education to include Maths and English to GCSE (Grade A - C) or equivalent level (level 2)

- 30 hours per week (0.81081 FTE) / 52 weeks per year
