Puro Accountancy are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join a well-established accountancy practice based in central London. **Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing accounts up to trial balance for a portfolio of clients
- Performing bank reconciliations and processing payments
- Processing invoices & sales and purchase ledgers using cloud accounting softwares
- Producing and submitting VAT returns
- Assisting clients with any queries
- Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients
- General admin duties

**Requirements**:

- At least 2 years' experience working in a UK accountancy practice environment
- Must have previous bookkeeping experience
- Experience working with entertainment clients is desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients
- Have experience with a variety of software's
- A strong attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines
