**Merchandising Manager - £50k - £55k**

**Bishops Stortford, commutable by train/car M11**

**Hybrid working after probation, 3 days office/2 days wfh**

- Responsible for maximising profit and minimising markdown through sales planning, range building, forecasting, reviewing and balancing stock levels.
- Manage and develop a strong merchandising team & drive excellence.

This role is managing an existing team of merchandisers and assistant merchandisers and a growing turnover - this is an exciting challenge and not for the faint-hearted

Management of the team and supporting their development, you will be reporting to the FD and seen as a senior business manager within the head office team. Your experience as a Merchandising Manager will be from the fmcg/ecomms space; you will be comfortableworking in a fast-paced environment with knowledge of WSSI packages second nature.

A strong track record in OTB and critical path management are essential, and you'll have a series of successful seasons to your name where categories have seen an impressive sell-through rate and profit achieved with a clear margin.

- You must be a strong and effective communicator and develop relationships with key stakeholders in Buying, Stock Control, Marketing & Finance etc.

**Responsibilities**
- Planning range analysis for the buyers to assist in future planning decisions.
- Provide comprehensive analysis on category mixes, price architecture, new/continuity mix, supplier mix and best/worst performance.
- Weekly forecasting in line with the trend across product category
- Forecasting to incorporate future demands from all channels
- Updating and forecasting sales on WSSI and managing OTB by category
- Manage End of Life (clearance) products through all channels
- Work with Stock Control to manage stock levels and the Merchandise Critical Path
