Required for female who is a mum, grandmother and lives independently in own home.
- recently been diagnosed with two degenerative neurological diseases which have been life changing and has limited ability to care for herself
- seeking experienced honest, reliable, punctual Personal Assistants to join team of care PA’s working either self-employed or on an employed basis and wage to reflect this.
- You must have a caring nature, positive attitude to match employer, patience, sense of humour and able to work under own initiative.
- symptoms can vary even hourly you will need to be flexible and respond appropriately to frequent symptoms /medication induced changes that happen many times day.
- by having support which will save energy,can enjoy some of my leisure time again and even be introduced to new activities

Main Duties for full time PA -pro rata to hours worked
- Meal preparation and giving encouragement to eat.
- Light household cleaning
- Laundry
- food shopping on line and in store
- keeping on line diary up to date

**Personal Care**:(please add in/delete as applicable)
- Assistance with showering and dressing
- As my needs increase then there will be more personal care needed
- Oversee physio exercises
- Prescription ordering/collection, promoting to take meds on time

**Social**: (please add in/delete as applicable)
- Social Trips out
- Accompany to appointments when needed.

- Reliable with good time-keeping
- Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
- Hygienic, tidy minded and well organised
- Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
- Patience and possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Honest and cheerful
- Excellent English and communication skills
- Be willing to learn about the progression of MSA-P
- Legally permitted to work in the United Kingdom
- Able to work at all times to high standards of Health & Safety

Previous experience preferred but this is not as essential as a kind and common sense approach to these roles. Training will be provided.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £14.00-£18.00 per hour
