Your chance to join an experianced HR Team...Provide administration support to the organisation as well as assisting the HR manager and acting as a first point of contact for all HR enquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
Administration and Employee Relations
- To administer starter / leaver processes
- To support, maintain and update electronic personnel record systems.
- To provide training administration including booking venues, liaising with training providers and attendees and maintaining training records.
- To prepare letters or contracts for any changes to employee terms and conditions e.g. flexible working.
- To support and prepare, as required, management reports on employee-related data to assist with the management and development of staff.
- In the absence of the HR Manager, to escalate issues of concern to the appropriate senior manager.
- To handle all initial contact from team members and to respond to general queries from managers and employees, signposting them to the appropriate policies and procedures.
- To provide administrative support to line managers in HR processes, including note taking at investigations or formal meetings.
- To support with the development and implementation of projects as required.
- Recruitment, selection and induction
- To provide administrative support to the recruitment process including;
- To produce and issue offer letters and employee contracts;
- To undertake all required pre-employment checks, updating and discussing with line manager as appropriate;
Payroll
- To support and provide information to and liaise with HR to provide in-house payroll to ensure staff are paid correctly and on time.
- To support and provide a pension administration service liaising with external advisers.
Additional Duties:
- Develop self-knowledge related to this role to develop skills and employee relations / law knowledge.
- Drafting internal communications and updating the IMS social media accounts

- To work within Health and Safety guidelines, the law and set rules given by the Company on any work premises/location
- Assist within other departments when required to aid business needs.

- Requirements:
Essential:
- Minimum GCSE C or equivalent in English and Maths
- Able to work independently and on own initiative within specified guidelines or processes
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and able to deal with colleagues at all levels
- Able to work appropriately with confidential and sensitive information
Desirable:
- Experience of Microsoft Word and Excel packages
- Experience of social media management
- Some experience working within an office environment
- Strong organisational skills
- Have professional written and spoken English
Work hours would be 8:45am to 17:15pm Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch.
