**Key Duties**:

- To monitor hygiene procedures to ensure product safety is not compromised.
- Follow the correct sequence of washing hands.
- Maintain acceptable level of Personal cleanliness & appearance.
- Be aware of and comply with company hygiene policy (GHP).
- To ensure slicing operations maintain a 3rd party inspection approval status.
- Be able to interpret the cleaning instruction. card (CIC), and the cleaning process.
- To carry out other tasks given by the manager or team leader.
- Able to work with minimum supervision.
- Willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as required by the manager.
- Be time conscious in terms of punctuality and completing tasks within a set period.
- Able to work establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with tasks without supervision where required.
- To wear appropriate personal protective equipment when in the factory.
- To follow health & safety procedures at all times.
- Safety conscious of surroundings and able to work in a safe manner.
- A sound knowledge of chemical and safety issues (COSHH).
- To complete all written checklist.
- To raise issues during monthly team meetings.
- Reporting faults, damages to management.
- Reporting any illness, skin conditions.
- Able to demonstrate basic level of written and oral communication.
- Able to carry out a visual inspection of the cleaned equipment/area.
- Use of a swabbing regime of the slicing room post clean against a set plan.
- To establish the effectiveness of a cleaning process.
