**Estimator/Designer**
**Location: Midlands (Office Based)**
**Hours of Work**:40 hours per week
**Salary**:Competitive + Bonus Scheme

**The Role**
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Estimator/Designer to join the Crendon Timber Engineering team. You will be
responsible for producing detailed, accurate designs for our products to meet customer/business requirements. We are
looking for an individual with a natural ability to build rapport with customers and technical knowledge and experience in
Truss and/or Posi-Joist floor design.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- I nterpret customer requirements and estimator quotations to provide efficient and professional designs, ensuring
- targets are achieved and contractual obligations are fulfilled.- Prepare formal RFI’s as required.
- Liaise with customers and provide a knowledgeable service.
- Liaise with colleagues to ensure designs takes into consideration costs, targets and manufacturing capacity &
capability.

**Skills Required**:

- Good understanding of I.T (use of Microsoft Office 365 suite).- Confident written and verbal communication skills required to liaise with colleagues and customers.
- E xperience with CAD based programs desirable but not essential as full training will be provided on bespoke design
- package (MiTek PAMIR).- A ble to work as part of a small team but have self-motivation to work alone to meet deadlines and customer
- expectations.- Passionate about exceeding customer expectations and providing excellent customer service.
