**Matchday Safety Steward**

Derby County Football Club are recruiting for Matchday Safety Stewards to join our matchday operations team

As a Matchday Safety Steward at Derby County Football Club, you will be directly involved in engaging with supporters including offering direction, patrolling the grounds, dealing with problems as they arise, and providing an overall safe environment for all home and away supporters to enjoy. Excellent communication and customer service skills are required for this role together with a positive and courteous manner.

Due to the nature of this role, applicants are required to be at least 18 years of age.

There is a requirement for all Matchday Safety Stewards to attend 70% of all home fixtures. Please note, this primarily includes weekend and evening work.

The rate of pay is £9.50 per hour rising to £9.82 per hour on successful completion of the NVQ Level 2 in Spectator Safety qualification, which is a compulsory requirement of this post.
