**Spencer Clarke Group** are working closely alongside a Council in Nottinghamshire to assist with the appointment of a**Senior Commercial Property Manager**on an interim contract.

**Contract Details**

**Pay Scale - Inside IR35** - Negotiable Dependent on Experience

**Location** - Hybrid Working (Nottingham)

**Contract Length** - Minimum 3-months. Possibility of extension

**Key Responsibilities**
- As a member of the team of professional surveyors and colleagues, provide senior support undertaking professional work in the delivery of holistic asset and property management activities to an agreed portfolio of commercial assets.
- To support the Principal Surveyors in driving the Council’s commercial asset priorities to improve the performance of the Council’s property portfolio.This includes providing professional property advice and expertise to colleagues across theorganisation and supporting the Council’s property disposal, acquisition and asset valuation programme and wider regeneration ambitions.
- To undertake estate management duties commensurate with the seniority of the role and deal with day-to-day estate management issues with respect to an identified portfolio of Council assetsThese duties to include recovery of arrears, undertakinginspections, tenant liaison and ensuring tenant compliance, asset management, negotiation with occupiers, purchasers and developers.

**Experience Needed**
- MRICS with post qualification experience suitable to the level of the post
- Knowledge of the law and the valuations practices required in managing a mixed property portfolio
- Experience of asset valuations, estate management, negotiation and provision of professional property advice and transactions
