We have an exciting opportunity for newly appointed post as a Band 4 Nursing Associate to work with the staff on Rowan 2 Ward at Highbury Hospital.

Rowan 2 ward is a 16 bedded female acute inpatient ward offering a comprehensive MDT for which the nursing associate would contribute to the assessment, treatment and recovery of females aged 18-65. Rowan 2 are focused on quality improvement and currently undergoing QNWA accreditation and an exciting refurbishment plan in enhance the therapeutic environment.

This post will be key in delivering excellent quality care to our patients and will have a particular emphasis on driving forward high-quality physical healthcare alongside Mental Health.

We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and highly motivated individuals to provide high quality care within our service.

The post is full time and features a combination of shift patterns including early, late, long days and night shifts.

The role will include working alongside an experienced nursing team to provide an enhanced level of patient centred care aimed to support our patients in meeting their needs and optimising successful recovery following a period of crisis.

The post requires an individual with good communication skills who has the ability to work within a team under the guidance of the ward leadership team.

**Essential requirements**:

- Understanding of physical health
- Understand Clinical Risk
- Understand and utilise care plans to effectively deliver care to patients
- Ability to function within a team
- Good oral and written communication
- Ability to develop professional working relationships with a challenging patient group.
- An understanding of the importance of working closely with patients and their family/friends/carers.
- Evidence of ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.

You must be a registered Nursing Associate, registered with the NMC.

Applicants must be flexible, hardworking and compassionate with a desire to work in a fast pace environment. You will have access to training and development, annual appraisals and clinical supervision.
