BRANCH ASSISTANT

With sales in excess of £90m across 30+ sites and a team of 450+ people, LBS Builders Merchants, South Wales’s largest independent builders’ merchant is looking for the best people to join its team.

As a Branch Assistant you will be required to generate, and co-ordinate sales while will also be supporting the Branch Manager in achieving and exceeding sales targets as well as creating and maintaining a loyal customer base and providing a first-class service. Internal duties will involve serving customers at the trade counter, managing stock levels and merchandising. Externally you will be working in the warehouse and yard, loading vehicles for deliveries, serving customers and managing the external stock.

- Is committed to delivering and maintaining outstanding customer service.
- Has excellent communication skills and is a motivated and flexible team worker.
- Is target-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Is passionate about building knowledge and developing their career at a growing company

**Hours of work**:On average 43.25 hours per week covering the branch opening times between 8.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday, plus alternate Saturday mornings 08:00am - 12 noon.

**Salary**: Minimum £23,434.58 per annum
