Because of exciting new plans in the works for the remainder 2024 Homebase is recruiting across multiple teams, including our commercial team

**Who we're looking for**:We need a **_Junior Merchandiser,_** from a retail background who understands just how fast-paced things can get, so ideally you will have at least 2 years of experience within an Assistant Merchandising or Junior Merchandising role.

**Working hours**: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday (8 am - 4 pm OR 9 am - 5 pm).

**Location**:We operate a hybrid working policy which means that you decide what works best for you If that means working from home, then work from home. If you prefer to work in an office then you're welcome to work from the office. **For this particular role, you will need to work from our Milton Keynes, Store Support Centre for 2 days per week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays). This may increase to 3/4 days per week for short periods in the run-up to our peak seasons.**

**Salary: £26,000 - £34,000 **_(depending upon experience) plus annual bonus earning potential 7_**

**Job Role Purpose**:
**You will be responsible for maximizing sales & profitability on buying area product range whilst minimizing loss/markdowns.**
- End to end stock flow for relevant departments
- WSSI management/maintenance
- Drive stock turn and deliver business stock levels in line with budget. (Store/DC/Dockside)
- Range reviews alongside Buyers
- Support the building of a range plan alongside the buyer
- Suggesting sales driving activity to drive cash and reduce stock where appropriate.
- Improving availability to maximise sales and customer experience
- Manage suppliers ensuring a strong mutually beneficial relationship
- Constantly identifying and implementing Merchandising process improvements
