Become a part of our international Quality, Health, Safety, Environment and Security team in Sunbury-On-Thames (London), United Kingdom. For the next possible date we are looking for you in fulltime as QHSES Advisor.

**Tasks and responsibilities**:

- Support the implementation, maintenance and improvement of the subcontractor management system
- Carry out the global subcontractor qualification process, including due diligence, review, evaluation, recommendation and engagement
- Conduct subcontractor audits and inspections
- Participate in regular subcontractor assessments
- Assist in the investigation of all incidents, root cause analyses, reporting and corrective actions via SAI360
- Develop, implement and follow up on immediate, corrective and preventative actions at all levels
- Maintain occupational health and safety and the quality of the office/workplace environment
- Assist offices with pre-qualification, tenders, questionnaires, and planning and implementation of projects
- Support recertification processes
- Support the maintenance of current IMS documentation in in-house systems
- Support in the development of project-specific QHSES plans, risk assessments and occupational safety analyses
- Represent QHSES (e.g. in Toolbox Talks) during assignments at project sites, ports or comparable locations
- Initiate safety meetings and participate in client meetings
- Site safety, personnel competency and equipment inspection at assigned project sites
- Implement the use of Roam 5 (SAI360 via mobile device) for QHSES observations and incident reporting
- Audit subcontractors on site
- Develop, maintain and improve training concepts and materials
- Train regional and, where appropriate, local QHSES officers and staff

**What you can contribute**:

- 2 to 5 years of work experience in a health and safety, quality and environmental role
- Experience in high-risk industries like oil and gas, marine, logistics
- Preferably accredited qualification in topics like health and safety, auditing and incident investigation / root cause analysis
- Experience with a number of risk management procedures and tools such as HAZID, HAZOP, HIRA, JSA and PTW
- Effective interpersonal skills, including effective negotiation and conflict resolution, with a team player attitude and proactive work ethic
- Outstanding communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Willingness to take international business trips
