**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB**
- To deliver excellent quality of care to every client, allowing them to remain living independently in their own home
- To support and respect our clients in their independence at home, encouraging choice and participation
- To be a friendly face that our clients trust and look forward to seeing, maintaining professionalism always

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To be professional, caring, and compassionate whilst always delivering excellent quality of care.
- Completing all care duties and tasks, detailed in the individual care plan
- Assisting clients with all personal care: toileting, washing, dressing etc.
- Assisting in practical support such as house cleaning; cooking; dish washing; etc.
- Ensuring clients are provided with refreshments and light snacks, as required
- Prompting clients to take medication (as required)
- Promoting independence and choice where possible.
- Upholding client’s rights and preserving their dignity, always
- Maintaining HCIL standards, in line with our Policies and Procedures HCIL
- At HCIL, the health, safety and wellbeing of our team members has always been our absolute priority.- As a result of COVID-19, we are continuously reviewing and updating our robust policies and procedures in relation to safe working practices, infection control (including enhanced PPE where required) and social distancing guidelines._
- In line with Government guidelines, we have reviewed our in-house training programme and adapted as required. This will be explained to you in detail at interview, answering any questions you may have._
