As one of the North East’s premier venues we are looking for friendly, creative, trustworthy and motivated individuals to assist in the delivery of our Social media platforms

Key

**Responsibilities**:

- Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
- Generate, edit, publish and share content that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
- You will be responsible for the overall performance of the company’s presence, across a multitude of platforms.
- Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
- Create editorial calendars and schedules
- Continuously improve by capturing and analysing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
- Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions
- Form key relationships with influencers across the social media platforms
- Liaise with all departments regarding guest requirements and event requests.
- Be familiar and knowledgeable of all hotel facilities, events, promotions.
- Promote the hotel and its facilities to all prospective guests or customers to maximise sales and revenue.
- Check customer satisfaction regularly, ensuring all guest feedback is dealt with in a professional and efficient manner
- Ensure prompt timekeeping and attendance
- Attend company meetings as requested.

**Our must have’s, **Skills and Knowledge**
- Proven track record in creative writing with the ability to generate engaging, on-brand content
- Experience in generating digital content (photography/videography)
- Experience with photo/video enhancing software (preferably Adobe suite)
- Confident in running targeted advertising campaigns, across all platforms
- A very good understanding of campaigns metrics
- Must be able to be self-managing, creative, organized, confident, and proactive with adaptable communication skills.
- Good problem solving and negotiation skills to ensure that we continue to meet all of our customer and staff expectations.
- Working within a team and independently.
- Commitment to personal development and a willingness to work towards acquiring new skills.

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Digital and social media marketing
- Social media and interactive technologies
- Solid understanding of the use of social media, particularly in relation to advertising / branding and customers
- Strong editing and writing skills for each platform, from knowing how to write a successful tweet to using story telling techniques.
- Creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas
- Strong verbal communication skills for articulating ideas to colleagues and clients
- Organisational skills, with the capacity to prioritise and work across multiple projects
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Data analysis skills and statistical prowess to draw actionable insights
- Online community management and customer service skills to strike the balance between publicity and stimulating direct discussion with potential and actual customers
- An eye for detail and the ability to deliver on objectives in a timely manner
- Excellent team work and networking skills

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
