**Job description**- The postholder will teach physiology and related sciences to undergraduate and postgraduate students of the Faculty of Medicine, Health & Life Sciences and contribute to related administrative and outreach activity.- A postgraduate qualification in Physiology or Physiology/Healthcare-related Education;
- A PGCHET or are willing to undertake a PGCHET and/or obtain membership of an appropriate professional and/or teaching body e.g. HEA;
- Significant knowledge of Systems Physiology;
- Evidence of teaching physiology and physiology practical skills in Higher Education;
- Teaching experience in Physiology and substantial (at least 6 months) experience in teaching physiology laboratory skills in a teaching laboratory;
- The ability to design course materials and to plan and organise the delivery and assessment of teaching sessions in Physiology; and
- Experience of setting and judging student assessments.
