Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Transport Planner to join our team. The Transport Planner will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing transportation activities to ensure efficient delivery of goods.

**Responsibilities**:

- Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to coordinate transportation activities
- Plan and schedule shipments based on customer requirements and delivery deadlines
- Utilize supply chain knowledge to optimize routes and reduce costs
- Manage logistics operations, including tracking shipments and resolving any issues that arise
- Use Excel and other office software to maintain transportation records and reports
- Drive continuous improvement in transportation processes
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Strong communication skills to interact with various stakeholders effectively
- Ability to manage logistics operations efficiently
- Computer literacy with knowledge of Outlook or similar tools
- Customer service orientation to ensure client satisfaction

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
