**Overview of the role**:
**Hours and location: 40+ hours per week, Mondays - Fridays with weekend shifts as required.**

The role will be based in Cardiff

We are looking for an experienced Crane Driver / Material Re-handler to join our team in Cardiff. You will be part of a hardworking team of Ward employees who support in the recycling of over half a million tonnes of ferrous and non-ferrous metals each year. You will be required to load and unload vehicles and vessels, and sort materials into correct bays.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Load and unload vehicles and vessels
- Monitor materials and report any non-acceptable material items
- Reform material pile to ensure most effective grab volume
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

**Skills and Knowledge Required**:

- Experience operating Crane / Material Re-Handler in a safe, competent manner
- Experience operating various other plant and machinery (Beneficial)
- Ideally possesses an NPORS accreditation (Beneficial)

Pay: From £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 45 per week
