We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in **Bedfordshire** to assist with the appointment of a **Project** **Officer**, on a **2.5-month contract**, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion.
**Summary**:
- Provide proficient, accurate customer focus support across a range of projects and programmes.
- This will include gathering business requirements, planning and scheduling, project/programme governance, production of reports.
- May include budget monitoring, procurement, stakeholder communication and engagement
**Requirements**:
- Experience of developing and maintaining positive and collaborative relationships with private and public sector organisations, community/customer groups and other stakeholders, to drive improvements in service delivery.
- Ability to communciate effectively with all customers,ensuring needs are met.
- Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise own workload so that all projects receive equal support.
- Examples of establishing and maintaining information management and effective admin systems.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills indicated by GCSE level C or equivalent.
