Flintshire Youth Service are seeking to recruit a Youth Worker for their Youth Homelessness Prevention Team to support young people aged 11 to 25 at risk of homeless and reduce the risk homelessness through early intervention. The Post holder will be required to undertake case management activities and will be expected to work in the community, schools, and youth clubs with helping young people reduce the risk of homelessness. The post holder will coordinate plans of support to help young people with their aspirations and goals of preventing these risks. You would be expected to demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to young people and their families to help reach the Welsh Governments target of reducing Youth Homelessness by 2027.

The post holder will have excellent skills of engaging with young people and supporting them with helping them remain safe and stable in their family home as well as having experience of creating relationships with Partnership agencies such as Education, Careers Wales, Children Services and YJS in helping young people and their families with early intervention support to prevent homelessness and reduce the risk factors relating to homelessness.

This is an excellent opportunity to for a Youth Worker to join Flintshire Youth Service working towards Bronze status in Youth Work and on a project working towards reducing young people becoming homeless.
