**Responsibilities**:

- The Sales ledgers for each of the School’s entities, including the raising of invoices, reconciliation of
accounts and credit control.
- Purchase ledger postings, reconciliations and payment runs.
- Cash reconciliations including charity fundraising collections.
- Reconciliations of credit card statements and posting of transactions.
- Posting of journals.
- Control account reconciliations.
- The calculation and recording of accruals and prepayments.
- Inter company reconciliations and transfers.
- The posting of pupil disbursements, pupil billing, direct debit collections and fee debtor liaison.
- Budgetary processes and controls.
- Generally supporting the Director of Finance and Finance Manager with ad-hoc analysis and projects as required.
- Working with colleagues in the finance team, understanding processes and providing cover as and when required.

Person specification
attributes;
- Be part qualified AAT or be an experienced finance professional, able to demonstrate competence in transactional finance.
- Be positive and have a solutions focussed attitude.
- Enjoy being part of a team.
- Very high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
- High level of ICT skills.
- Strong communication skills, confident in communicating with colleagues at all levels.
- Be able to work calmly under pressure, maintaining positivity and enthusiasm whilst doing so.

Hours
The basic hours are 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

This will be a 6 months fixed term contract, starting immediately.
