**Domiciliary Care Assistant (Drivers Only)**

We are recruiting care assistants to provide domiciliary care to service users in their day-to-day lives, enabling them to live more fulfilling lives whilst helping them remain in their own home by providing high-quality person-centred care, supporting the service user to undertake, a wide range of care needs, considering their individual personality and lifestyle choices.

Duties include:

- Providing high-quality person-centred care to service users in their own homes in accordance with their support plan.
- Providing personal care duties such as washing, dressing, bathing, toileting, and medication monitoring and/or assistance with these activities.
- Administering medications
- Shopping and meal preparation support
- Supporting with domestic, daily living tasks including cleaning
- Helping service users to access the community, socialise and undertake leisure activities.
- Manual handling, using equipment where required.
- Promoting service users’ health and wellbeing, independence and enabling them to live their life to the fullest.
- Being flexible to work a range of shift patterns including weekends.
- Maintaining appropriate records to meet the needs of the service, observing, and promptly reporting changes or concerns in your service user's circumstances or condition.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
You have experience of working in a care or dementia setting or you may have a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), but above all, you'll be passionate about caring for others, respecting people's choices and always putting their safety and welfare first. A great listener with a positive outlook, you're confident talking to both client’s and their families and understand that confidentiality is very important in what we do. residents' faces every day.

You must hold full UK driving licences and access to vehicle.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract

**Salary**: £7.93-£13.92 per hour
