_**Social Media Assistant**_

We are seeking a creative and driven individual to join our team as a Social Media Assistant. You will be responsible for supporting our social media efforts and assisting in the development and implementation of our social media strategy, working closely with the Marketing Co-ordinator and wider team who run our social media channels.

You will play an important role in supporting the team with promoting our offering and brand across the various social media channels, capturing content for our social media channels, and suggesting new ideas to engage our audience.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for social media and a desire to gain experience in a fast-paced and dynamic marketing team.

Reporting to: Member Engagement Manager
- **Responsibilities**_
- Assist in the creation and execution of social media content plans and strategies across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Tik Tok and YouTube.
- Attending our events around the country to capture content for our social media and website (15-20% travel required).
- Create engaging and visually appealing social media content, including images, videos, and written copy, that aligns with our brand guidelines and resonates with our target audience.
- Monitor social media platforms for trends, news, and opportunities to engage with our audience and industry influencers.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and recommend innovative strategies to maximise our social media impact.
- **Skills, experience & qualifications - Essential**_
- Clean driving licence.
- Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines and to prioritise workload.
- Experience creating content across different formats.
- Knowledge of using Adobe Creative Cloud tools and working knowledge of MS Office.
- Experience at using a range of social media tools to achieve results
- Good communications skills.
- Good eye for visual design, photography, and videography.
- Great attention to detail.
- A willingness to keep aware and up to date with developments in technology.
- **Skills, experience & qualifications - Desirable**_
- Experience with video editing
- Have a degree or experience in marketing/social media
- A keen interest in sports and leisure activities.
- Awareness of trends in the market and nationally celebrated days.
- Copywriting experience.
