We are looking for a Patient Coordinator to join our large, friendly group surgery in Manchester based at The Maples Medical Centre and at our smaller branch, the Lakes Medical Centre. This is an excellent opportunity to work in an interesting and diverse healthcare environment. You will work across both sites.

You will be part of the busy team that provide our non-clinical support within the practice. The work is varied and interesting and includes welcoming patients and visitors, listening and understanding patients’ needs, resolving queries where possible, signposting patients to the appropriate service or appointment, booking appointments and processing prescriptions.

You will be intelligent, dependable and friendly, with excellent people skills. You will enjoy working in a busy environment and be compassionate to the needs of our diverse patient population. You will also be helpful and approachable and have the ability to work well within a team.

Full in-house training will be provided.

The working hours are 30 per week, spread across Mon-Fri.

Some flexibility or extra hours will occasionally be required to cover for absence and busy periods. As part of this, you may be required to work occasional evenings to 20:30 or Saturday mornings 9:00 - 12:00. Rota will be given in advance.

Salary is £10.42 per hour. We offer 4 weeks holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata) and membership of the NHS Pension Scheme.
