This is a new post established to continue the development of Orthogeriatric and Elderly Care services at Southport.
You will be joining a skilled and motivated Elderly Care department based at Southport Hospital with a commitment to provide a truly integrated high quality service to our frail elderly population.
As part of the role, the post holder will be required to participate in the education supervision and training of trainees in Orthopaedics and Medicine.
The successful post holder will take on the role of Clinical Lead for the medical care of older Orthopaedic and Trauma patients.
- The post is based primarily at Southport District General Hospital but also includes sessions in Ormskirk District General Hospital. Outpatient clinics will be delivered across both sites._
