We have developed a set of three strategic objectives covering our policy outcomes and corporate objectives. These objectives help us to deliver our ambitious vision to build our green and healthy future and provide a framework for all the important work we carry out.

**As a Finance Business Partner your main responsibilities would be to**:

- Identify, design & implement process improvements to ensure compliance with internal & Cabinet Office spending control requirements, removing known & future audit / control risks.
- Evaluate current processes, identify weaknesses and actively manage risks & opportunities against the latest plan, financial forecasts & change control - providing recommendations for change.
- Provide financial oversight including implementation of financial controls - ensuring workstream financial controls are efficient & effective.
- Manage & build relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Oversee budget delegations - track performance against control risks.

**You’ll have relevant experience in**:

- Demonstrable Finance Business Partnering experience - inc. financial controls.
- A recognised Accountancy qualification (CIMA or similar).
- Process improvement & change / cost control experience.
- Ability to work with non-finance - business engagement.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills - ability to work with colleagues across finance.
- Ability to work independently.
