Slicer

Here at Bodmin site, we are looking for enthusiastic team player to join us friendly team. Monday - Friday shift pattern 6:15 - 16:15. No experience needed all training will be giving.

Duties to included:

- Examine sliced product for quality, smoke level and temperature.
- Reject any unsuitable product.
- Operate grill controls in response to requests from high risk line operators.
- Mantain awareness of daily slicing requirements and respond to changes.
- Ensure machinery is turned off when not in use.
- Report any issues to the attention of the Area Leader / Area Manager.
- Ensure correct PPE is worn at all times.
- Ensure the safe operation of all equipment within the area.
- Embody a continuous improvement approach to all duties, raising ideas with Area Leader / Area Manager.
- Any other reasonable duties as requested by the Area Leader / Area Manager.
- Good level of numeracy and literacy.
- Knowledge of slicing machines.
- Understanding of quality requirements and customer specifications.
