**Hospiscare** is looking for **Shop Volunteers** based in **South Street**

**About the **Shop Volunteer** **role**:
As a shop volunteer, you will be helping to generate essential income to maintain Hospiscare services for our patients and their families.

We're looking for reliable people with friendly and welcoming personalities who want to give their time to support their local hospice charity shop.

Our South Street shop specialises in books, from second-hand fiction to antiquarian leather and cloth backed copies, as well as collectable items, vinyl and CDs.

**Typical activities of the role**:

- Sorting and preparing donations
- Pricing and replenishing stock
- Serving shop customers
- Supporting the shop manager with window displays
- Promoting and selling Hospiscare’s lottery

**What we’re looking for in our Shop Volunteers**:

- Reliability
- A friendly and welcoming personality
- Willingness to work as part of a team
