**Higher-level teaching assistant needed in Birmingham, within Sandwell**

We are working with numerous schools within the Sandwell, Birmingham area that are looking for staff to join their team from September onwards. These schools are rated Good on Ofsted, have excellent resources, and are supportive in every way.

As a Higher-level Teaching Assistant, you will:

- Support teachers in delivering curriculum across all stages
- Help to prepare learning materials under the direction of the teacher
- Manage the classroom if the teacher requires so
- Support students who need extra help to complete tasks
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment
- Work within the school's policies and procedures to manage behaviour effectively
- Participate in training and development sessions

**Personal Specification**
- Have a recognised teaching assistant qualification at Level 4 or above
- Be a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills
- Have experience working in a school setting
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to engage and motivate students in a classroom environment
- Have a strong commitment to their own professional development

**Salary**: £90.00-£110.00 per day

**Education**:

- Certificate of Higher Education (required)

**Experience**:

- Special education: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
