**Supervisor - Milk ExFarm**

We are currently looking to recruit for a **Supervisor **to join our Milk Ex-Farm team based in Aspatria.

In this role, you will be responsible for the planning of our Milk Ex-Farm vehicle movements, working alongside other Traffic Planners within the Milk team. You will be responsible for executing the daily planning activity, ensuring the most efficient use of vehicles and drivers during collections and deliveries whilst taking account of Working Time Regulations and Drivers Hours Rules, vehicle weights and dimensions and the Road Traffic Act. All related information must be accurately recorded onto company and other IT systems. You will handle real time communications with our drivers, solving or escalating issues as appropriate where they occur.

To be successful in this role you will be a ‘people person’ and a real team player. Previous supervisory experience would be advantageous, equally if you have experience of transport operations, we can help you understand the milk operation elements. You will be an effective communicator and able to stay calm under pressure, thriving in a busy and fast-paced environment. You will be proficient in the use systems and all microsoft programs, you are organised, proactive and have excellent attention to detail.

In return we offer: an attractive salary, between £30-35k dependent on experience, access to benefits such as life assurance, sickness, and pension schemes. The role will be working over 7 days on rolling shift pattern of 4 days on 4 days off, 4 days on 3 days off. The hours for this role will be 12 hours per day with a 45-minute unpaid break.
