Specialist, Product Management

Overview

The Consumer Engagement team focuses on differentiation, enhancement, and innovation of Mastercard Consumer products. The team manages European Product Line Strategy focusing on Premium cards and Cross Border differentiation. It innovates with new Buy Now Pay Later solutions such as Mastercard Instalments. It drives European Sustainability narrative leading with Carbon Calculator and Donation Platform scaling. Finally, it is responsible for Financial Inclusion and Financial Health to address the needs of financially underserved.

Role
- Day to day supporting and driving forward our strategy and objectives in Premium
- Create sales materials for account teams to Premium penetration, including maintaining a library of best practices and propositions
- Collaboration with markets to support specific needs and requests in this area
- Monitor the competitive landscape and industry trends, understand its implications for Mastercard and suggest innovative ideas to drive differentiation
- Support the analysis of internal and external stakeholder needs and issues
- Tracking performance across Europe
- Ad hoc requests to support the wider team initiatives, across ESG, Premium and Differentiation
- Research industry best practices to support internal and external knowledge documents.
- Provide insights that may influence the sales strategy, and contribute to the development of materials for training, RFPs, strategy reviews and other

- Strong business acumen

- Strong experience in analysing data and putting thoughts in a story, advanced Microsoft Offices skills, mainly Excel and PPT, Tableau an advantage - consulting approach
