An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior pharmacy assistant to join the Pharmacy Homecare Team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust.
You will mainly be based in the pharmacy office, within the pharmacy department. The role involves working closely with Trust colleagues, 3rd party service providers, patients and others in the multi-disciplinary team. You will co-ordinate the ordering of prescriptions for delivery direct to patients, under homecare service agreements. In addition you will be expected to work closely with finance and pharmacy procurement teams ensuring timely processing of invoices; provide data for invoicing of high cost medicines and liaise with clinicians to ensure homecare prescriptions are provided on a timely basis.
