**We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Domestic Assistant to join to our Clients' team in a beautiful nursing home in Newcastle upon Tyne.**

**About**:

**Position Overview**:
As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for the residents. Your responsibilities will include housekeeping duties and ensuring that communal areas and living spaces are comfortable and inviting. This role is essential to the overall well-being and satisfaction of the residents.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform general housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and offices.
- Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.
- Handle laundry duties, including washing, ironing, and folding linens.
- Assist in maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
- Collaborate with the caregiving team to support resident needs.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a care or hospitality setting.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to resident care.
- Understanding of infection control practices.
