An exciting opportunity has arisen for suitably experienced and motivated individual, to work at B4 level within the Falls Prevention Service in BCUHB Area West.

The team work with people who have fallen or are at risk of falling within the community. The team’s aims are to identify and minimise falls risk to promote wellbeing, prevent injury and unnecessary hospital admissions.

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic individual who can work as a team or unsupervised. They will work autonomously under the direction of a Physiotherapist to provide an integrated service for falls patients on Anglesey.

The role will involve undertaking patient home visits to complete multifactorial falls assessments and falls interventions including supporting the delivery of strength and balance exercise programmes and the provision of equipment and adaptations to reduce falls risks.

The successful applicant will be expected to commit to attending a PSI Course (Postural Stability Instructor Course)

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
