**About the role**:
Vision for Education are working with a Blackpool based primary school who are looking for an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to work within school in their Nursery provision. You will be working with a friendly and supportive team of Teachers and Teaching Assistants within the Nursery provision of the school.

Your typical day-to-day duties as an EYFS Teaching Assistant will include:

- Supporting groups of children/individuals to help them with their learning.
- Support the classroom teacher in assessing the needs of the children.
- To assist in the daily routine of the classroom.
- To undertake playground supervision as and when required during the school day
- Observing, recording and providing feedback on pupil performance
- To assist in creating materials for curriculum delivery and display boards
- Assist with behaviour management within and outside the classroom
- To take safeguarding seriously and be observant and follow the schools safeguarding policy

**Requirements**:
To be considered for the role of EYFS Teaching Assistant - Blackpool you will:

- Experience as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school or early years setting i.e. nursery.
- Previous experience of working with children aged 3-5 years old.
- Good written and oral skills for report writing, maintaining child records and providing feedback to parents/carers and colleagues.
- The ability to work in a team in order to achieve successful outcomes for learners.
- Hold a childcare/teaching assistant qualification, although this is not essential as training can be provided.
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

- Experience as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school or early years setting i.e. nursery.
