**Youth Support Worker
- The Role**
For this SEN Support Worker position, you will be supporting children between the ages of**4-19 years** that have SEMH needs, ASD, ADHD, complex needs, and other additional needs. Therefore, you must have prior experience supporting childrenor adults with challenging behaviour, complex needs, autism, and Social emotional mental health needs, so that you can hit the ground running with this Youth Support Worker role. You will be supporting in a class of 6-8 students on a 1-1 or small group basis.This class will be secondary aged, and some students are non-verbal therefore prior experience with PECS or Makaton would be advantageous.
**Youth Support Worker - The School**
Located in the centre of **Kingston Upon Thames** with great transport links, the underground and overground station is near to the school with great links such as the Central line. This SEMH/ASD/complex needs school caters for students betweenthe ages of 4-19 years. All students are on the EHCP. The school caters for 210 students and class sizes vary from 6-8 pupils.
