Secondary Sen Teaching Assistant

A vibrant and forward thinking Secondary School based the heart of Bracknell Forestare looking for SEND LSA’s to support their SEN pupils starting ASAP on a full time basis.
The school are looking for experienced Special Needs teaching Assistants or support workers who can assist with the following roles.
- 1:1 support person for a student with Autism who is, transitioning from a SEN school. He attends all the mainstream classes and his EHCP stipulates that he has 1:1 support including breaks and lunchtimes.
- Supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD and Challenging Behaviour across Years 7-11, assisting with appropriate language and attitude to learning/ focusing on task. Some have Social Emotional and Behavioural difficulties
**These will be full-time roles Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 3.30pm.**
Alongside the staff you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.
**To be considered for this role you will need**:
- Experience with SEN
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
- Dedicated and passionate about education

- Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
- Eligibility to work in the UK
