Foundry Operative

MG Duff are one of the foremost authorities on marine cathodic protection and one of the world’s leading suppliers of anodes for leisure boats, commercial ships and offshore structures.

We are looking to recruit a **Foundry/Machining Operative**, to assist in the day to day operations of the company’s anode casting operation, producing zinc and aluminium sacrificial anodes, as well as assisting with other production tasks.

**This is a very physically demanding job, involving manual handling of heavy loads and standing for long periods of time, working in a very hot environment with exposure to molten metals.**

**IDEAL CANDIDATE**:

- Foundry experience (desirable)
- It is essential you are a team player for this role.
- Attention to detail.
- Be reliable (essential).
- A positive can-do attitude.
- Valid driver’s licence and counterbalance forklift truck licence (desirable)
- An understanding of health & safety legislation and operation in practice
- Good level of English required due to dangerous nature of work

**PAY & BENEFITS**:
£12.50 - £14.00 per hour depending on experience

On completion of probationary period inclusion in Performance Bonus & Production Bonus

**HOURS**:
**Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work required ** (42.5hrs per week)
