Aeromedical Examiner

**About the role**:
It's an exciting time to join AXA Health, with investment planned in all UK&I businesses to transform, deliver new digital services to our customers and streamline and automate our business processes. We're looking for a talented Aeromedical Examiner join our aviation team on a permanent basis. This job is part time - 0.7 FTE / 26 hours per week.

AXA Health are the occupational and aviation medical service provider to several of the UK's largest airlines. We also look after the health and wellbeing of air traffic control officers at some UK airports. As an Aeromedical Examiner, you'll be part of an experienced multidisciplinary team in a fantastic culture, focused on flexibility and care.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Provide occupational health independent medical assessments for our airline customers, remotely and face to face.
- Maintain compliance with clinical governance protocols, including continuous professional development (CPD) and training activity.

**About you**:
**What we’re looking for**:

- Full GMC Registration - essential
- Certified UK CAA Aeromedical Examiner (AME) - essential. Consideration will be given to UK CAA Occupational Health Medical Practitioner (OHMP) authorised for cabin crew assessments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to produce high quality medical reports.
- Able to thrive in a flexible working model - you’ll primarily work from home.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
