Senior Estimator

**The role**:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation that is a market leader of landscape products.

**Key Objectives**:

- Analyse design plans, bills of quantities & other project documentation to estimate costs.
- Research, source, negotiate & obtain best priced quotes from suppliers and 3rd parties & subcontractors.
- Assess financial, technical, and operational risks of a project.
- Site visits to assess & gather information.
- Work with key members of the project team and provide customers with regular updates.

**We are looking for**:

- Minimum of three year’s estimating experience in project-based/construction/landscape environment
- Technically knowledgeable of general construction methods and how they are implemented.
- Experience with excellent influencing and negotiation skills with the supply chain and/or external clients to ensure the business maximises profit.
- Excellent level of numeracy and verbal communication skills
- Proficient on MS Office including Excel.
- Good team player
- Uses initiative, can solve problems independently.
- Demonstrates good judgement in decision making.
- Good organisational and time management skills
- A passionate individual motivated to work for Allgreen.
- Knowledge of Sage, AutoCAD and AutoDesk would be beneficial.
- Any specialist knowledge of Hard Landscaping/Stone Masonry would be desirable.
