Inside Sales Executive

Description

Are you an experienced and ambitious inside salesperson who could help grow one of the UK’s largest certification bodies, with the opportunity to work with some of the world’s leading Food brands?

We have an exciting new role at NSF for an **Inside Sales Executive**, to join our team in Witney, Oxfordshire, in a hybrid capacity. You will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You will make dozens of calls per day, working with sales colleagues and business unit partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, assisting with bids and RFP’s, delivering presentations, and closing some of your own sales.

**Principal Accountabilities** include, but are not limited to:

- Routing marketing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
- Understanding customer needs and requirements, leading ‘needs based’ conversations with clients and prospects
- Close your own sales and achieve quarterly quotas
- Research accounts and prospects, identify key decision makers and generate interest
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned channels
- Work with channel partners and sales leaders to build pipeline and close deals
- Perform effective online presentations and to prospects
- Explore opportunities to upsell and cross-sell between business units and service lines
- Support the Territory Executives & Sales Director with bids, tenders and RFP’s
- Support preparation for forecasts and annual budget, to gain approval from the Regional Director as required

**Qualifications**:

- Proven background in sales, customer service, or marketing
- Bachelor’s degree, or intermediate/advanced apprenticeship in sales and telesales would be preferred but not essential
- Proven success with inside sales experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment
- Track record of meeting and beating quotas and targets
- Demonstrable achievements in working database prospects and converting to sales
- Experience interacting with customers through written and verbal communication, with a strong phone presence and experience in targeted outreach campaigns & calls
- Knowledge of sales techniques, best practices, sales pitches, upselling, researching prospect and determining promising leads
- Excellent persuasion and negotiation skills
- Demonstrable IT skills (Salesforce, CRM systems, Microsoft, Google Sheets, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo)
- This is a hybrid-based role, linked to our Oxfordshire Office
