**Position: Cleaner Immediate Start**

Stone Management are looking to recruit a cleaning operative to assist us in a commercial property in Edinburgh City Centre.

This is an opportunity to be part of a friendly team who play a vital role within the business in servicing our clients, offices and stores.

The aim of these roles is to provide a good cleaning service that is responsive to the needs of the client, resulting in a clean and healthy environment for all staff and guests.

Duties include all aspects of cleaning within the domains plus maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene in all public areas.
- To service all areas, including common areas, staircases and toilets and ensuring high levels of attention to detail and professionalism.
- To maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of all public areas, fixtures, fittings and equipment.
- To always have good attention to detail when completing cleaning duties and promote high cleaning standards through best practice.
- To note and report hazards, defects and maintenance needs to the Supervisor.
- To ensure daily compliance with regulations relating to storage and use of cleaning materials and equipment.
- To promote a helpful and professional image to the customer, giving full co-operation to any customer requiring attention, attending to any queries in a caring and helpful manner with a commitment to dealing with the issue in a positive way.
- To carefully handle property found in public areas ensuring it is returned and logged promptly to the Supervisor and or Management.
- To comply with all legal requirements in respect of health and safety and welfare of all members of staff and customers. Including attending COSHH training and practising safe working habits.
- Be an ambassador of the Group, providing excellent customer service at all times whilst portraying a professional image.
- Perform other duties as required, which are considered relevant to the post and to the objectives of the Group as identified by the Supervisor and Management.
- Treat all colleagues as customers ensuring respectful positive outcomes across communications.

A good command of the English language is essential within this role so instructions can be communicated and understood.

Job Title: Part-Time Cleaner

Shift pattern: Monday - Friday 16.00 - 19.30

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: £11.44 per hour
