**Job Title: Food and Drinks Runner**

**Responsibilities**:

- Retrieve food and beverage orders from the kitchen or bar and deliver them to the appropriate tables in a prompt and efficient manner.
- Ensure that orders are accurate, properly presented, and meet the established quality standards of the establishment.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate the timing of orders, especially during peak hours.
- Assist in table setup and clean up, ensuring that tables are properly prepared for incoming guests and cleared efficiently after they leave.
- Maintain a positive and courteous demeanour when interacting with guests, responding to any inquiries or requests with professionalism.
- Multi-task effectively to handle multiple orders simultaneously, prioritizing based on timing and special requests.
- Communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen and bar staff accurately.
- Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and other staff members to ensure seamless service and a harmonious working environment.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area and workspaces.
- Provide support to the front-of-house team as needed, such as assisting with hosting duties during busy periods.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and presentation.
- Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and evenings.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
- Positive attitude and a team player mentality.
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations is desirable

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £10.42-£10.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Glasgow: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
