**Job Details**

This role will be to work throughout locations in the UK but primarily Central and South but not necessarily limited to this. You will report to the Service & Sales Manager who is base in the North East Office.

With a wide range of facilities such as local authority public buildings, business and office premises, food and manufactory facilities and chemical and petrochemical plants. Risk Assessing process water including cooling towers is essential, and due toclients, a DBS check will be necessary.

**Job Purpose**

To carry out all Legionella risk assessments at client sites in accordance with BS8580-1 2019, ACOP L8 and HSG274. To advise and explain to site Responsible persons and the account manager the findings of the assessment and the extent of the implicationsof non-compliances. To outline any remedial actions required to ensure compliance and where appropriate to highlight risks that exist to persons inside and outside the site perimeter.

To produce reports in a clear and concise manner to the company format and in line with required deadlines, to produce schematics drawing through Microsoft Word, Visio of water systems as required.

**Responsibilities**:

- To carry out the necessary Legionella Risk Assessments at client sites and compile the assessments in accordance with the BS8580-1 2019
- To interpret the significant findings identified in the assessment and communicate to the customer recommendations on the remedial actions required in order to demonstrate that Veolia is effectively discharging its responsibilities.
- Regular reporting to Line management of progress and status.
- To write up risk assessments in a company defined format and meeting any deadlines required.
- To follow company procedures and the use of all its documentation
- Liaising with individual Account Managers with regards to all technical issues and to generate quotes
- Liaising and communicating with all relevant stakeholders to ensure all remedial works are completed satisfactorily.
- Maintaining and updating any job critical qualifications or accreditations.
- Building and maintaining good relationships through appropriate communication with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Works to achieve K.P. I’s and targets set and agreed with line manager

**Have or Hold**:

- Recognised certification in Legionella Risk Assessing HSG274 parts 1, 2 & 3
- Be suitable trained or have had exposure or some knowledge of carrying out legionella risk assessment on a number of systems such as evaporative cooling systems, process waters & recycled water.
- To have an in-depth demonstrable knowledge of the Water Systems Regulations and the Control of Legionella Bacteria Code of Practice (L8) & HSG 274
- Preferably will have experience of carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments across a wide variety of properties, construction types and operations in public sector, commercial and industrial properties. **Cooling tower experience is essential**:

**Salary - **26,000 - 32,000k
