**Purpose of Role**:
The Mast Climber and Hoist Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the deployment, maintenance, and efficient operation of mast climbers and hoists on construction sites. This role involves coordination with various stakeholders to ensure the safe and smooth functioning of equipment.

**Main Duties**:
**Delivery and Return of Materials**: Coordinate the delivery and return of materials related to mast climbers and hoists, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with safety protocols.

**Training Program Development**:Develop and enhance training programs for mast climber and hoist operators, incorporating industry best practices and equipment updates.

**Continuous Improvement**: Identify opportunities for process improvement in mast climber and hoist operations, implementing initiatives to enhance efficiency and safety.

**Budget Monitoring**: Monitor and manage costs associated with mast climber and hoist operations, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Equipment Coordination**:

- **Essential**: Coordinate the deployment, positioning, and removal of mast climbers and hoists on construction sites.
- **Desirable**: Experience in scheduling and optimising equipment usage.

**Safety Compliance**:

- **Essential**: Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and procedures for mast climbers and hoists.
- **Desirable**: Certification in safety management or equipment operation.

**Maintenance Oversight**:

- **Essential**: Oversee regular maintenance schedules for mast climbers and hoists, coordinating with the maintenance team.
- **Desirable**: Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices.

**Operator Training**:

- **Essential**: Coordinate training sessions for equipment operators, emphasising safety protocols and proper usage.
- **Desirable**: Training certification for mast climbers and hoists.

**Troubleshooting**:

- **Essential**: Ability to troubleshoot and address operational issues promptly, ensuring mínimal downtime.
- **Desirable**: Mechanical or technical background for hands-on problem-solving.

**Communication**:

- **Essential**: Maintain clear communication with construction site managers, project supervisors, and equipment operators.
- **Desirable**: Effective communication skills in a construction or industrial setting.

**Inventory Management**:

- **Essential**: Manage inventory of mast climbers and hoists, ensuring availability and readiness for deployment.
- **Desirable**: Familiarity with inventory management systems.

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
