Laundry Attendant

**Valet Laundry Services** require laundry staff Monday - Friday at our premises at Work West Centre, 301 Glen Road, Belfast. BT11 8BU.

Opening hours Monday - Thursday 8.00am-7.00pm, Friday 8.00am
- 2.30pm. May be longer opening hours during summer months and busy periods, to include Saturday shifts.

Two vacancies available. Hours of work to be agreed at interview.

**Reporting to**: Production Supervisor

**Main Responsibilities**:

- The main purpose of the job is to assist with the general tasks required in a busy laundry environment.
- The main role will be to work on commercial rollers/ironers to process table-linen and bed-linen or to assist with ironing or in the wash room.
- To ensure that the laundry room is kept clean & tidy when carrying out tasks to ensure a safe environment in which to work.
- To work as part of a team to maintain an efficient flow of work through the laundry.
- To comply with statutory Health & Safety requirements within the laundry.

**Essential/** **Desirable** **Qualifications**

Willingness to undertaken relevant on-the-job training.

**Work Experience**

Laundry experience not essential.

Experience of working in a busy production environment beneficial.

**Skills**

Good English required.
